Kuwaiti Police Apprehend Two Nigerians for Armed Robbery

Two Nigerian nationals have been arrested in Kuwait for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery at a currency exchange office in Mahboula. The suspects, whose names have not been disclosed, reportedly stole $14,918.69 in foreign currencies, equivalent to approximately 4,600 Kuwaiti dinars.

According to investigations, the gang meticulously planned the heist, monitoring the exchange office from nearby rooftops to identify peak business hours. They also used stolen license plates to disguise the vehicles used during the operation.

The Kuwaiti General Department of Criminal Investigations apprehended the suspects within 24 hours of the crime. One suspect was arrested in Mahboula, while the second suspect was caught in the Al-Qarain Market area. The stolen money and a small bag of crystal meth were recovered from the second suspect's residence.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed the arrests and stated that the suspects and recovered items have been handed over to the Public Prosecution Office for further legal action.
